Protest against attack on BCMS Golaghat unit president

MARGHERITA, March 23: Members of Bharatiya Chah Mazdoor Sangha (BCMS) Margherita Circle on Thursday took out a protest rally from North Margherita Rangamancha to Margherita SDO (Civil) office gate in protest against the attack on Bharatiya Chah Mazdoor Sangha Golaghat branch president rayan Mahar and other members by Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha members at the Bharatiya Chah Mazdoor Sangha Branch office. 
More than 150 members of BCMS Margherita Circle were present at the rally and shouted various slogans against ACMS.A memorandum was given to the Chief Minister through the Margherita SDO (Civil) with five demands such as within 24 hours ACMS members who were involved in the attack should be arrested, administration should open the BCMS Golaghat Branch office which they locked up, administration should returned the vehicle of BCMS Golaghat Branch which they took away, BCMS members should be provided full security by the administration and BCMS Golaghat Branch president rayan Mahar and other BCMS members who are attacked physically by ACMS members should be provided better treatment. Sanjib Baruah and Nirmal Das, president and secretary of Bharatiya Chah Mazdoor Sangha Margherita Circle condemned the attack on BCMS Golaghat Branch president rayan Mahar and other BCMS members by ACMS members and demanded that the administration should give strict punishment to the ACMS members.
