Protest against CM, Pradyut Bordoloi

MARGHERITA, May 30: Activists of Asam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chaatra Parishad (AJYCP), Margherita Regiol Committee burnt the effigies of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and Margherita constituency MLA Pradyut Bordoloi at tiol Highway 38 on Saturday. More than 50 activists of AJYCP led by AJYCP Margherita Regiol Committee secretary Kanchan Bora took part in the protest. They shouted various slogans against the Chief Minister and Pradyut Bordoloi. Kanchan Bora said that Margherita constituency Gaon Panchayats and rural areas were underdeveloped and people living there had made several appeals to Margherita constituency MLA Pradyut Bordoloi in this regard. Bora alleged that the MLA had cheated the people of Margherita in the me of development. Bora added that if the MLA did not complete all development projects soon, AJYCP would launch a massive agitation.
