Protest by tea garden labourers

JORHAT, February 29: The Asom Chah Jagusthi Adhikar Sangram Samiti, Jorhat district committee took out a rally at Teok town in Jorhat on Monday for their various demands. About 500 tea garden labourers shouted slogans against State Government. They demanded land patta and later submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister through the Circle Officer of Teok revenue circle.
