Protest rally against Zubeen's 'misbehaviour'

PATHSALA, Nov 2: A protest rally was held on Thursday at Patacharkuchi against the alleged misbehaviour of popular singer Zubeen Garg with the audience during a cultural function at Patacharkuchi on the night of October 29.  The rally was taken out from the venue of the function under the aegis of the Patacharkuchi development committee with the support of various organizations like Pragjyoti Club, AJYCP, ABVP and AASU. More than 500 protesters took part in the programme. The protesters shouted slogans condemning the incident and later they submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal through the Circle Officer of Bajali and demanded proper action in this matter.
