Protests continue in Biswath over employee's death

Biswath Chariali, March 14: Tension continues to prevail in Biswath after the death of an employee in a powergrid on Thursday. Protests by thousands of employees and various organizations could be seen here on Saturday. The employees who were upset for not receiving proper wages, displayed their anger towards the authorities. They also complained of not receiving proper facilities like insurance and medical facilities. Regiol Secretary of the Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti, Ganesh Barman, working president of the Chah Shreni Mukti Sangram Samiti, Tempa Kumar, and various other people were present, who also demanded of the government to pay compensation to the family of the deceased

employee.
