PSO commits suicide

GUWAHATI, May 10: The PSO to the wife of the Chief Justice of Guwahati High Court allegedly committed suicide on Thursday in his rest room located within the Chief Justice’s official residence premise. The deceased, Nayanmoni Gogoi who was an armed branch constable hailed from Fatasil Ambari. According to police source, the deceased died right after he shot himself with his 9mm service pistol. Meanwhile, the Panbazar police have recovered 9 live bullets, one blank cartridge along with the service pistol. It is pertinent to mention here that, the wife of the Chief Justice has been out of the State for the last couple of days and she was scheduled to return to Guwahati today.
