Public hearing

SHILLONG, February 18: Public hearing on the performance of the MGNREGS in 4 (four) GS Circles of Baghmara C&RD Block for the year 2013-14 was held today at Nongalbibra, South Garo Hills in the presence of Local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary, Shri. Rophul S. Marak, South Garo Hills Additiol Deputy Commissioner, Shri Aloysius C. Marak, Block Development Officer, Baghmara C&RD Block Smti. Yosima W. Momin, Bakdil Co-orditor, DRDA Officials, President/Secretary of the VECs and Villagers of the concerned GS circles. Almost all VEC members were satisfied with the MGNREGS scheme and the Social Audit. Job card holders and President/Secretary of the Village Employment Councils (VEC) of the 4 (four) GS Circles placed their grievances in implementing the MGNREGS wherein the Chairman informed that the matter will be looked upon. In his speech Local MLA Mr. Rophul S. Marak thanked the people for sharing their views and comments by attending the programme.
