Public holiday declared on April 8 in BTC

KOKRAJHAR, April 2: The Government of Assam has declared public holiday on April 8 next in the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) districts of Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa and Udalguri for election to the Bodoland Territorial Council, 2015. The Government of Assam has also declared Public Holiday in the areas on April 8 under the NI Act, 1881. This declaration is made in respect of all Central Government offices/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Corporations/ Boards/ Banks/ Educatiol Institutions etc. falling under BTC areas , stated a press release.
