Public holiday declared on Nov 19

Dibrugarh, November 14:  The Assam Government has declared a public holiday on November 19,  in the areas falling under 121 No Chabua Assembly Constituency for the upcoming by polls to be held for 14 No Lakhimpur parliamentary constituency. All State Government offices and all revenue and magisterial courts, educatiol institutions falling under this constituency will remain closed on that day.  Moreover, under the NI Act, 1881, a public holiday has also been declared on November 19. On that day, all Central Government offices, banks and educatiol institutions in these areas will remain closed, a DIPRO press release stated.
