Public holiday on Monday at Barak Valley

GUWAHATI, Nov 19: On the occasion of the celebration of mami Barak, the Government of Assam has declared public holiday on November 20 within the jurisdiction of three districts of Barak Valley viz. Cachar, Hailakandi and Karimganj. All offices under Government of Assam, Revenue and Magisterial Courts and educatiol institutions within the jurisdiction of the three districts will remain closed on November 20. All other Fincial institutions within the jurisdiction of Cachar , Hailakandi and Karimganj Districts will also remain closed on that day under NI Act 1881, stated a press  release.
