Public information officers appointed

Shillong, Dec 6: The Executive Committee, Garo Hills Autonomous District Council has appointed Public Information Officers of different departments of Garo Hills Autonomous District Council to expedite the matters relating to furnishing of information under RTI Act, 2005. This was informed by the Secretary to the Executive Committee, Garo Hills Autonomous District Council. The officers include P R Marak, Revenue Officer for Land & Revenue department, R N Marak, Chief Forest Officer for Forest Department, S R R Marak, Jt Secretary, Executive Committee for General Administration department, R B Marak, Superintending Engineer for Civil Works Department, F Ch Momin, Agriculture Officer for Agriculture Department, R B Marak, Superintending Engineer for Rural Department, G R Marak, Superintendent of Transport for Council Transport Department, P R Marak, Revenue Officer for Relief Works department, J Kharbhih, Rural Administration Officer for Rural Administration Department, M M Sangma, Assistant Director for Council Press Department, S R R Marak, Secretary, Legislative for Legislative Department, M D Shira, Superintendent of Taxes for Taxation department, S B Marak, Assistant Engineer for Water Works Department, J C Marak, Tourism Officer for Tourism Department, Glory Hesting R Marak, Assistant Account Officer for Fince Department and E  A Sangma, Interl Audit Officer for Audit Section.
