Pughoboto SDPDB Felicitates Toppers Of HSLC, HSSLC Examinations

KOHIMA: The Pughoboto Subdivision Planning and Development (SDPDB) organized a felicitation programme of HSLC and HSSLC-2019 was held with the MLA and SDPDB Chairman Y Vikheho Swu at the DB Court hall of Pughoboto recently. The MLA congratulated the successful candidates of the recently declared HSLC and HSSLC examinations of the sub- division, and gave away the award to the best performing School Ighanumi including certificate with cash awards to the successful candidates as incentive, stated a release.

Earlier, ADC Pughoboto K Mhathung Tsanglao reviewed the minutes of the last meeting. The MLA said that follow-up action should be given to the ADC for the tree plantation carried out in the subdivision. He said that villages have been receiving the saplings since 2014 and action taken should be reported regularly. The meeting agreed on the resolution for the creation of EAC HQ at Lusaqa, Chisholimi and the resolution would be forwarded to the government. The board also gave cash amount to three Students of New Foundation School for nurturing and maintaining the trees. Giving a PowerPoint presentation, BDO Ghathashi Obed said that the number of households under Ghathashi block GIA 2017-18 was 7,856.
