Pul hails lifters

ITAGAR, Feb 27: With weightlifters from the state continuing to shine in the ongoing 11th Youth (Boys & Girls) and 52nd Men and 28th Women Junior tiol Weightlifting Championships – 2016 at Pat, Aruchal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul today congratulated lifter Kojum Taba for winning 3 Gold medals on Thursday that took the medal tally of Aruchal to 7.

While also congratulating other winners, the chief minister announced to appropriately award all those who have been bringing laurels to the state.

Pul enthused hope that with the sportspersons from the state excelling in various discipline in tiol as well intertiol area, it will pave way for many youths to take sports as promising career option.

It is in this spirit that the chief minister said that to harness youth potential, more employment and career opportunities for sports will be created through partnerships with all segments and institutions of the state, an official release informed here today.
