Pulse polio immunization programme at Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, Jan 27: With the global initiative of eradication of polio, the medical wing of the 16th Bn.SSB of Ranighuli, Kokrajhar recently organized a pulse polio immunization camp in the nearby villages of Ranighuli and border villages under the AOR of the unit here. Sources from the SSB said during the programme, the children in the age group of 0-5 years with total 559 children were immunized. Parents of children were also made aware about the ill effects of the polio virus on children as how it can make the children physically disabled.
