Pune beat Jamshedpur

 Pune, Jan 24: FC Pune City rode on late goals from Gurtej Singh and Emiliano Alfaro Toscano to defeat Jamshedpur FC 2-1 in an Indian Super League (ISL) encounter here on Wednesday. Gurtej (62nd minute) and Toscano (66th) handed Pune all three points after Wellington Cirino Priori (29th) had put Jamshedpur in the lead. The win saw Pune jump three places to the top of the league table with 22 points from 12 matches. They have a slender one-point lead over second placed Bengaluru FC while Cheniyin FC are a further point away in third. Jamshedpur remain at the fifth spot in the 10-team table with 16 points from 12 matches. (IANS)
