Pune City sign Turkish striker

Pune, Aug 10 : Indian Super League (ISL) team FC Pune City signed former Turkish intertiol Tuncay Sanli for the 2015 edition of the league on Monday. The 33-year-old attacking midfielder previously played for Turkish giants Fenerbahce and English clubs Middlesbrough and Bolton Wanderers. He has played 80 intertiol matches for his country, scoring 22 goals. Tuncay expressed his excitement at the new challenge in his footballing career.

Tunncay was part of three Turkish Super League title-winning campaigns during his tenure at the club from 2002 to 2007.

Pune City will be coached by Englishman David Platg who welcomed Pune’s latest signing. IANS
