Punishment to college student condemned

MARGHERITA, Oct 1: Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chaatra Pariahad (AJYCP) Margherita Regiol Committee general secretary Kanchan Bora has condemned the alleged brutal punishment given to Abidur Ali, a HS first year student of Axom Junior College, Agabandha  at Margherita in Tinsukia district on August 28 at the college premises by two college teachers . The college teachers, with the help of some senior students of the college, allegedly brutally punished Ali. Bora warned that if the teachers and magement of Axom Junior College continued their ‘inhumane attitude’ towards the students, AJYCP Margherita Regiol Committee would launch a movement against the college.
