SHILLONG, July 16: The Hynniewtrep tiol Youth Federation (HNYF) Raliang circle in order to safeguard the border area and to curtail the encroachment from Assam met with different government-departments including Deputy Commissioner, Arun Kumar and the Superintendent Police to rectify the government institutions and signboard located in Saphai, West Jaintia Hills District falling under Elaka Raliang. “The DC has assured us that he will take immediate action and see that the me is rectified. The SP has also told us that the outpost located in Saphai will be med as Saphai and not Garampani,” president of the HNYF, Donbok Dkhar told media persons here on Thursday.
