Python rescued

GORESWAR, March 2: A 6 feet and 6 inches long python of 7 kg weight was rescued on Thursday at a garden of Utpal Daimary of Halongbari village under Goreswar police station in Baksa district. The activists of Sikhar Adventure Club and the members of Goreswar press club rescued the python and  handed over the python to the Forest Department. The Forest Department freed the python at Bardi wildlife sanctuary. Sources said that the python came out from the sanctuary floating through Bardi river which flows from Bhutan hill through Bardi wildlife Sanctuary.
