Python rescued in Baksa

BAKSA, June 25: A huge python was rescued from grijuli area in Baksa district on Thursday. The python measuring 7 feet was first sighted in the residence of Nilomani Kalita. He immediately alerted his neighbours and with their help caged the python. Later, the local people handed over the python to the police who sent it to the forest department. The forest department released the python in a forest along the Indo-Bhutan border.
