Qualifying round begins

GUWAHATI, Nov 14: The qualifying round matches of the World Junior Ranking Tennis Tourment for boys and girls U-18 got under way at the All Assam Tennis Association Complex, Chachal here today. Parikshit Somani and Bijoy Kumar Mohanty from Assam are in the main draw through wild card entry in the Boy’s event. In the girls event Priya Kalita and Lenien Jamir of Assam got direct entry into the main draw while Annie Thousen and Rai Zaffar, also from Assam, got into the main draw through wild card.
