Rabindra Jayanti observed in Golaghat

Golaghat , May 9: Rabindra Jayanti was observed in Golaghat with a day-long programme. The Golaghat District Unit of Bengali Youth and Students Federation organized a day-long programme on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Rabindrath Tagore at Golaghat Bengali High School and Amateur Theatre Society premises. The flag hoisting was done by Sanjay Dey, garlanding by Mrityunjaya Ghosh and lighting of lamp by Ganesh Pal and Sushant Roy. A cultural procession was taken out attended by a large number of people. In the evening a cultural programme was organized.
