Rahul aide Kanishka Singh sends legal notice to BJP MP

New Delhi, May 13: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s aide Kanishka Singh on Friday sent a legal notice to BJP MP Kirit Somaiya, asking him to tender an unconditiol apology for his remarks regarding the AgustaWestland chopper deal or face crimil defamation suit. Congress media coorditor Prav Jha confirmed the development to IANS. “In his legal notice, Kanishka Singh has asked Somaiya to tender an unconditiol apology for making baseless allegations against him, failing which Singh will take recourse to crimil defamation,” Jha said. Somaiya had accused Kanishka of involvement in the AgustaWestland and the 2010 Commonwealth Games scams. (IANS)
