Rahul cautions over BJP 'money ploys'

SHILLONG, Feb 22: The president of the Indian tiol Congress (INC) Rahul Gandhi castigated the manner of BJP campaigning as “disgusting”. The AICC chief stated, “I have no word to use except the word ‘disgusting’ and that is what it is. It is disgusting!”

“ They (BJP)think that they can come here and can buy the church, the religion and God through what they recently promised”, stated Gandhi , even as he spoke about how the differences in the concepts of India as the Congress thinks and the BJP thinks about.

Lashing out at the BJP in the course of his two hours roadshow in Shillong, Gandhi said, “Their entire idea is always to divide, to oppress and to be sty. They have lots of money, there is no shortage, you can see rendra Modi talking of corruptions day in and day out but he doesn’t answer the question where does all the money that the BJP spends in their campaigns come from. Where does it come from?” the AICC president asked while pushing on with his political jabs against the BJP.

Rahul Gandhi in his brief speech pointed out: “The Meghalaya elections would be a turning point. We want your idea to be heard not only in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha but in every corner of India because we believe it is with your idea and millions of ideas like yours that the country can move forward,” stated Rahul Gandhi.

 He added: “The Congress party is the spirit of freedom in this country; it is the voice of the millions and millions of people of this country and we are defending it.” Cautioning the masses about the money factor that is purported and likely to have come into play, Rahul Gandhi said: “No matter how much money these people have, we will defeat them because we are for freedom and we are for the voice of the people of Meghalaya and voice of the people of the rest of the country!”
