Railway Commissioner inspects BG line from Jiribam to Vangaichungpao

Imphal, Feb 8: Shailesh Pathak, Commissioner of Railway Safety, NF Circle, Kolkata inspected the newly constructed B.G. line from Jiribam to Vangaichungpao on Tuesday of Jiribam-Tupul-Imphal New Line Project of Lumding Division. At first he conducted a Motor Trolley inspection from Jiribam to Vangaichungpao and thereafter the CRS conducted a High speed trial run   from Vangaichungpao to Jiribam  at a  maximum speed of 113 kmph. The 11 Km section has 31 minor bridges, 2 Road Under Bridges (RUB) & 3 Road Over Bridges (ROB)

The CRS, N.F.Circle was accompanied by M.R.Chaudhary, Chief Administrative Officer/Con-2, Pramod Kumar Jain, Divisiol Railway Mager, Lumding, A.Saibaba, Chief Engineer/Con-7, and other Sr.Railway Officials of Construction & Open Line during the inspection. This was stated in a press release.
