GUWAHATI, March 19: Rajib Dhar clinched the title in the Blitz ChessTourment held as part of the annual fest of Assam Engineering College. The tourment was organised by Assam Engineering College in association with Assam Chess Club. Altogether 42 players including 21 Fide rated players participated in the day long 7 round swiss league event played under blitz time control.Tralokya nda of Jorhat secured the 2nd position while Rahul Singh of Silchar was placed 3rd in the fil merit list. Debashish Dutta of AEC was adjusted the best AEC player of the tourment. The meet was conducted under the supervision of Biswajit Bharadwaj as Tourment Director and M Arun Singh as the Chief Arbiter.
