Rajinikanth, Sri Sri, Dhirubhai Ambani get Padma Vibhushan

New Delhi, Jan 25: The government on Monday announced Padma Vibhushan awards for spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, legendary Tamil actor Rajinikanth and late industrialist Dhirubhai Ambani. Others who will get Padma Vibhushan - the second highest civilian award after Bharat Rat - are classical dancer Yamini Krishmurthi, classical singer Girija Devi, media baron Ramoji Rao, Dr Vishwathan Shanta (oncology), Jagmohan (public affairs), Vasudev Kalkunte Aatre (science and engineering) and Avish Dixit (literature). Others who will get Padma Bhushan award, announced by the government on Monday, are Udit rayan Jha (art-playback singing), Ram V. Sutar (art-sculpture), Heism Kanhailal (art-theatre), Dr Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad (literature and education). (IANS)
