Rangali Bihu at Charing

GAURISAGAR, APRIL 24: Like the previous years, this year too Juki Silpi Samaj, a socio-cultural organization of greater Charing area is organizing a two-day Kendriyo Rangali Bihu Sanmilan at the Charing Siva Kanta Duarah Public Hall premises from May 4. According to the schedule, the programmes on the first day include flag hoisting, egg fighting competition, traditiol cake (pitha) competition among SHGs, Saru Bihuwati, Jeng Bihu and Hussari competitions. Prizes will be distributed on the second day. An educatiol trust will also be iugurated on the second day. A performance by noted artist Bipin Chaodung is slated for the evening of the concluding day.
