Rape accused arrested

SHILLONG, Feb 25: On February 23, one Md. Rafikul (22) raped one woman at Gabil Bi’sa in East Garo Hills district. The accused has been arrested. It may be mentioned that last year there were 91 reported cases of rape. Meanwhile, this year from January 1 to February 23 a total of 23 rape cases were registered.
