“This a barbarian act and to tackle such rape cases the law should be stricter,” H Dkhar, president of AJYWO central body said here on Sunday.

He said the organisation condemned the heinous crime. He also expressed concern over the growing rape cases against in the state.

“We have urged the police and the High Court to take stronger action against anyone involved in such cases of rape and murder,” he said.
