RBI issues warning against cyber frauds

SHILLONG, Feb 4: Expressing concern over the increasing crimes relating to cyber frauds or ATM related frauds, the Reserve Bank of India, Shillong, in a statement today said that the internet and social networking sites have become favorite hunting ground for miscreants who dupe hard-earned money from people. The Reserve Bank of India, Shillong, in its effort to make the public vigilant of such frauds, has organized awareness programmes across the state to dissemite the information about nefarious activities of such fraudsters.
