Ready to face defamation suit: Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee Takam Sanjoy

ITANAGAR, July 12: President of Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and leader of the opposition opposition Takam Sanjoy has rubbished the defamation threat made by the two MLA on the Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) compensation issue earlier” said the APCC president and opposition leader Takam Sanjoy.

He said that the defamation threat is uncalled for and that he is ready to face the same. Sanjoy was addressing reporters at Congress Bhawan, Itanagar on Thursday .

The party also demanded to transfer the compensation case to the CBI rather putting the task on SIC. It also threatened to call for various democratic rally and “Delhi Chalo” programme in days to come.

The DyCM has to immediately provide authentic reason for the deduction of TAH breadth from 24 meters to 14 meters. What prompted the government to deduct the breath that too after the release of the TAH money, Sanjoy questioned.

Who has the remaining money of the 10 meter stretch, sanjoy further questioned?

He added stating that if possible APCC will file an FIR against the DyCM for illegally chairing the minutes of meeting which was passed by the government of India and Indian Road Congress directives.

“It is a criminal conspiracy and high level corruption done by the present state government, Sanjoy added”.

Sanjoy also cleared that there can’t be 7x7 meter highway and what MLA Tage Taki said is without any substantiating documents that the norms can be changed on the breadth of the TAH road.

In the meantime he also termed the arrest of two officers and one local entrepreneur on the Joram-Koloriang TAH compensation issue a move to hoodwink people of the state. The party also alleged the present state government of preparing 3 Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the same work and payment to one person an amount 50 lakh for no reason.
