IMPHAL March14:  The United tiol LIberation Front, an armed underground organization in Manipur, has denied any involvement in the bomb blast on March 11 night in the temporary shed of the Imphal town.

Some Muslims sell chickens and ducks there. Three persons were killed on the spot and 22 others wounded. There are seven women among the injured. There had been universal condemtions for the blast.

The outfit further says that it condemns the blast in the crowded market place. Home Minister Gaikhangam Gangmei vowed to book the

culprits. However, so far, police have not inched forward in the

investigation. But then it does not come as a surprise since in the past the bombers were never accounted for.

There have been protests by the women. In absence of police solution, it is not known who had planted the bomb and why. The blast comes shortly after the lynching of a Muslim dubbed Bangladeshi.
