Reetamoni carried away Oil India Cup

DIGBOI, Feb 21: Reetamoni Hazarika of Guwahati again prove her metal by successfully sweeping away the Oil India Cup recently in the 39th All Assam Amateur Invitatiol Golf Championship, organized under the aegis of Upper Assam Golf Association, here at the historic Golf Links.

Hazarika maintaining her consistency playing under 0-36 in ladies category won the said cup for being the Best Nett over 2 days leaving space for her nearest contender Sabee Chowdhury for the runners up the Castrol Cup.

Interacting with The Sentinel this afternoon, Hazarika who won the said Championship title earlier in 2015  and  had carried away the best Gross over 2 days told that she has been actively participating the AAAIGC since 1998 and has been maintaining her position however with slight fluctuations.

Meanwhile, heading the team of Ladies Golf Union (LGU) for several consecutive years from 2008 till 2013, Hazarika was one of the winning teams of golfer to have won the Pro-Am in Servo Masters in the year 2010. Highlighting a brief journey of her golfing career, Hazarika the wife of Dilip Hazarika the DGM (Security) at Indian Oil said that UAGA has been contributing beyond description in promoting the cause of the golfing across the state and urged the budding players to dedicate quality time at the right earnest and climb the professiol ladder and take the golfing to intertiol are and exhibit their professiol spirit.
