Regularise posts, demand Aruchal teachers

Itagar, April 16: The All Aruchal Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers’ Association (CEC, AASSATA) has urged the Education Minister to clear the pending file for the appointment (regularization) in the 24 sanctioned posts of assistant teachers which have been kept in panelist list for a long time. In a representation to the Education Minister, the AASSATA said the DPC Board had recommended 100 posts of SSA AT following the meeting of the government on February 6, 2013. Out of the 100 sanctioned posts, appointments were made only in 76 posts and 24 posts were still kept in panel list. Claiming availability of vacant posts, it urged the education minister for clearing the file immediately for appointment in the remaining 24 sanctioned AT posts.
