Itagar, April 4: The Aruchal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Qualifier Association (APTETQA) has urged the state government to regularize in one-go all 1500 SSA in-service teachers who have qualified CTET/APTET.

He also claimed that earlier Chief Minister Pema Khandu during Intertiol Yoga Day celebration on June 21 last year at IG Park here has announced that the government would require more than 1,000 teachers for which posts would be created phase-wise. Moreover, the SSA teachers would be regularized phase wise to meet shortage, subject to those qualify CTET or APTET examition, Chader claimed. The state government had recently approved creation of 1,309 teaching and non-teaching posts including 1,130 teachers, Chader said and urged the government that TGTs posts should be reserved for TET qualified SSA in-service teachers instead of fresh recruitment by the Aruchal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).
