Regularize MPWs on seniority basis: AAPLU

ITAGAR, Dec 28: All Aruchal Pradesh Labour Union (AAPLU) today in a representation to minister Health & Family Welfare appealed for regularization of 150 Multi Purpose Workers (MPWs) on seniority basis. Earlier on December 2 last the department of Health & Family Welfare conducted a walk-in-interview for regularization of 150 MPWs out of the existing 365 contingent workers under tiol Vector Borne Disease Control Programme. Claiming pick and choose policy in the appointment process for regularization, the union has sought the intervention of minister Health & Family Welfare into the matter. AAPLU has threatened to launch democratic movement if selection process is not done on the basis of seniority.
