TINSUKIA, May 28: The Tinsukia branch of Indian Medical Association (IMA) has demanded an apology from Dr Ankuran Dutta for his write-up published in a local English daily on May 14 where Dr Dutta used the term ‘medical terrorism’ in order to allegedly malign the dignity of the entire medical profession. Such remark on the pretext of medical negligence will jeopardize doctor-patient relationship and will create unhealthy care system in the society. The IMA has threatened to recourse legal action against Dr Dutta if he does not concede to their demands.
