Residents demand civil subdivision at Dhekiajuli, meet CM

Dhekiajuli, Jan 17: A delegate team under the leadership of Deputy Speaker Bhima nda Tanti met Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on January 14 at his Koidhara residence   and demanded immediate declaration of Dhekiajuli as a subdivision.  The delegates spoke details about existing necessary available faculties for declaring Dhekiajuli as a subdivision.  The delegate team included AATSA Dhekiajuli Unit president Lakheswar Mirdha, Dhekiajuli Chattal Samity secretary Tapan Sen Gupta, AASA Dhekiajuli Unit president Amarjit Kerketta, social worker Anirudhya Tanti, former GP Member Kaju Deep,  Dhekiajuli  garik Moncha, president  Gokul Bosnet, Borsola Samasti garik Moncha president  and APCU Sonitpur district president rayan Phoyel   and businessman Titu Agarwal. The delegates asked Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi  what was the  reason for not declaring Dhekiajuli as a subdivision on  January 1. The Chief Minister assured the delegates that he would look into the matter seriously and would take action in due course of time.
