Residents demand construction of bridge

JOYSAGAR, Feb 24:  The residents of greater Kalugaon, Salaguri and Magarahat have demanded the State government to take quick and decisive action in building three RTCC bridges over mdung river at Kirai Ali in Kalugaon area of Sivasagar Dist today. The authorities of ONGC, Sivasagar had built three iron bridges on mdang river in the area. But in recent times these iron bridges were also becoming weak and damaged in many places for which commuters have faced lot of difficulties. Around three hundred people today staged protest near mdang River demanding construction of the bridges.
