Residents Protest Poor Road Condition in Uttar Bogribari Village of Tangla, Assam Through A Unique Method on Monday

TANGLA, July 31: Suffering due to the poor condition of the main road in Uttar Bogribari village under Khoirabari Development block in Bhergaon subdivision of Udalguri, people chose a unique method of exposing the failure of authorities to repair the road. The road is filled with mud and clogged with water. Villagers have been facing a tough time travelling through the road. Following heavy rain during the past one week, the situation has turned from bad to worse, said Dhananjoy Ramchiary a resident. Hence, to express their resentment, on Monday people sowed paddy saplings on the road and demanded the officials concerned to immediately take measures to repair the road.
