GUWAHATI, Feb 15: In view of the ongoing Higher Secondary and forthcoming High School Leaving Certificate and High Madrassa examitions commencing from Feb 18, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today directed the Deputy Commissioners to enforce restrictions on use of microphones and loudspeakers after 10 pm in public places. The order that comes into force tonight has been passed by the Chief Minister so that students do not feel disturbed by the noise pollution from the microphones and loudspeakers. The Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioners to enforce the order strictly until further orders.
