Retired ONGC officer passes away

GAURISAGAR, Feb 20:  Mohendra Kumar th, a retired officer of ONGC, Assam Asset  and a resident of Soontalichiga  village  on the outskirts of Gaurisagar in Sivasagar district, passed away on Sunday. He had been suffering from diabetics and heart diseases since a long time.

Due to ill health on Sunday morning, family members admitted him in Sivasagar Pragati Hospital but due to his critical condition, he was immediately shifted to Aditya Nursing Home in Dibrugarh  but  he was died on the way to the  hospital. He was 72.  

After retirement he was closely associated with various social organizations in the locality and his demise has cast a pall of gloom in entire Soontalichiga and Gaurisagar area. He is survived by his  wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives.
