Retired school teacher passes away

Rangia, May 26: Pratul Kalita, a retired school teacher of Rangia Tulsibari Bahumukhi School, died on Thursday morning after prolonged illness. He was 61. He leaves behind a son and a daughter. Bhabesh Kalita, MLA Rangia, Ghashyam Kalita and Anta Deka, former MLA, and Tariful Islam, former member of Anchlik Panchayat, mourned the death of Kalita. Tulsibari Market remained closed as a mark of respect to the retired school teacher. Different organizations also paid homage to the departed soul.
