Retired worker found dead at Borengajuli Tea Estate

DIMAKUCHI: Sensation prevailed following the recovery of a body at Borengajuli TE under Dimakuchi Police Station of Udalguri district. Shahid Ali (55), a retired worker of the estate, was found dead at 18 No. section of the garden. He had gone to cut grass in the Medical Officer’s bungalow during duty hours. The deceased was hit on his head and his leg was broken. The family alleged that a vehicle of the tea estate had hit him while he was returning on his bicycle. Dimakuchi Police sent the body for post mortem. He leaves behind his wife and three children.
