Review meeting held for women & child development and SJETA at Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh

TAWANG: Divisional Commissioner cum Commissioner for Women & Child Development and SJETA, Gamli Padu, on Friday held a review meeting with the the administrative officers and CDPOs of the district at Tawang.

Reflecting on the vulnerability of the section of society comprising of SC-ST, women, orphans, children and differently abled persons whose development has been the main focus of the department, the Commissioner underscored the pivotal role of district administration for successful implementation of schemes meant for them and requested for support and cooperation.

He stressed on Aadhar and opening of bank accounts of the beneficiaries so as to ensure that benefits accrued to them. Highlighting on the same, the Commissioner requested the administration and the CDPOs to identify the gaps and explore innovative ideas for bridging the same.

The Commissioner also emphasized on construction of toilets and water supply provision at all Anganwadi centres in the district.
