Review meeting with GP president and public

Silchar, May 15: A review and monitoring meeting with the GP president and public organized by Lakhipur ICDS project, Fulertal recently, was held at Binnakandi Ghat Ganga Dayal Dixit Community Hall. The initiative to organize this review and monitoring meeting was taken by Dharnidhar Kalita, CDPO, Lakhipur ICDS. The meeting was attended by more than 500 persons who comprise GP representatives, ICDS workers and helpers. Every ICDS workers were advised to be punctual and regular in taking initiatives related to cleanliness, extra co curricular activities and cultural events. They were also advised to write the centre number of the board of their respective schools. The speakers stressed on the need of imparting proper education.

They were cautioned that they would be dismissed from their service if not found on duty. All ICDS centres should be built and maintained properly. Lakhipur ICDS supervisors were directed to visit each and every centre on regular basis and also see that midday meals be provided.
