Rice and peas distributed

Silchar, May 8: Rice and peas were distributed at Anganwadi centre, under ICDS project, by Dharnidhar Kalita, CDPO, ICDS, at Phulertal godown recently. 482 Anganwadi workers and 25 mini workers received the food items. Dharnidhar Kalita asked the workers to be punctual and disciplined. He stressed on the need of having a neat and clean surrounding. He cautioned that negligence towards duty would not be tolerated at any cost.

 Skipping duties without prior permission or information would be treated seriously. Defaulters would be handed over a show cause notice, pointed out Kalita. The supplier of these food items, Munna Goala was also present there. The workers have been instructed to give these food items directly to the students so that they can take it home and consume the cooked food only.
