Rich tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayee

Silchar: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Silchar unit mourned the sad demise of the former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away on August 16 in New Delhi.

Members of the parishad paid their rich tributes. Prof Abhijit Nath, Department of Gurucharan College, Silchar, spoke at length about Vajpayeeji’s life and a cheqeured political career. He threw light on the great man’s contributions towards Barak Valley in particular and the country in general. Two minutes silence was also observed at the condolence meeting.
