Rijiju iugurates three bridges at Balemu

UDALGURI, April 16:  Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju visited Balemu and iugurated three bridges constructed by Border Roads Organization.

The Balemu, Sher and Shikari bridges are very important for transportation in the hilly region. Rijiju also addressed the jawans of 61 battalion SSB deployed in the region. Om Prakash, the Commandant of 61 battalion SSB, welcomed him in their camp. Som Yudrun, the DIG of SSB Sector HQ Tezpur, was also present on the occasion.

Addressing the public after iuguration of the bridges, Rijiju said the Union Government under the leadership of rendra Modi had been doing many noble deeds which would benefit the common people a lot. He referred to Jan Dhan, Digital India programme and also the visit of the Dalai Lama to Aruchal Pradesh. The roads of Aruchal Pradesh will be constructed within the next two years and all the villages will be provided with broadband connection, he stated.

He was accompanied by the Aruchal Pradesh Assembly Speaker during his visit. SS Porwal, the ADG of GREF, was also present on the occasion.
